The exceptional Jadis JPS3 phono preamplifier adopts an uncompromising architecture in two separate chassis. Its external power supply regenerates an internal 80 Hz voltage to free itself from 50/60 Hz mains disturbances. The high voltage benefits from very stable regulation provided by two dedicated tubes, an EF86 and an EL84. Versatile, it features two independent inputs specifically adapted to moving-magnet (MM) and moving-coil (MC) cartridges.
Its audio stage uses 3 ECC83 tubes for the MM stage and 2 x 6DJ8 / ECC88 tubes to magnify the MC stage. It delivers ideally staged gain of 40 dB in MM and 60 dB in MC, scrupulously following the RIAA correction curve. In listening, it extracts every subtlety from the grooves to deliver the full potential and magic of the vinyl record.
The reproduction flows with natural fluidity, remarkable harmonic richness and absolute listening pleasure. With exceptional artisanal construction totalling 30 kg, both units are available in a gold or silver finish. Description
JPS3 is a phono preamplifier with separated power supply. This Jadis includes an MM and MC phono preamplifier that uses three ECC83 for MM and two ECC88 for the MC stage. As for the JPS2, its specific power supply recreates a voltage for the module with a 80 Hz frequency in order to avoid problems that can occur due to the 50 or 60 Hz frequency from the mains supply. The high voltage is regulated by two tubes EF86 and EL84.
