The exceptional Jadis JPS2 line preamplifier adopts an uncompromising design in two separate chassis. Its dedicated power supply unit regenerates an 80 Hz voltage, completely eliminating 50/60 Hz mains pollution. The high voltage benefits from tube regulation (EF86 and EL84) for exemplary stability and silence. The audio stage combines 3 ECC83 tubes for the line section and 1 ECC82 tube as an impedance adapter on the CD input.
It offers a controlled gain of 24 dB on line and 18 dB on the CD input, with a bandwidth of 20 Hz to 74 kHz. Its complete connectivity includes 5 line inputs, a Tape Monitoring loop and 2 outputs to make bi-amplification easy. To fit your system perfectly, it is available in either a balanced (XLR) or unbalanced (RCA) version.
In listening, it impresses with a grand, holographic soundstage that gives the feeling of “pushing the walls back”. With masterful build quality totalling 31 kg, it comes dressed in a gold or silver finish. The Jadis JPS2 is a line preamplifier which uses three ECC83 for the line function and ECC82 to adapt the impedance on the CD entry. Its specific power supply recreates a voltage for the module with a 80 Hz frequency in order to avoid problems that can occur due to the 50 or 60 Hz frequency from the mains supply.
The high voltage is regulated by two tubes: 1 x EF86 and 1 x EL84.
Golden connector and further connections are in copper and silver which assure the faithful broadcast of the audio signal. The “point-to-point” wiring gives to the sound stage plenty of aeration and dimension.
JPS2 is available in balanced or unbalanced version.
